Peanut Brittle II
Put cup of granulated sugar in iron skillet and stir it until it syrups,
being careful not to burn.
Push back from flame and quickly stir in cup of peanuts which have been shelled
skinned and heated in the oven, adding teaspoon of butter and tiny pinch of soda.
Turn at once as thinly as possible onto greased slab or buttered platter.
When cold break in pieces.
