Dutch Sausage with Gravy (Sausage Cakes)
1 lb pork sausage (loose)
1 tsp shortening
1 small onion, minced
1 cp bouillon
1 tbsp flour
1 - Mold the sausage into flat cakes and fry in the shortening.
2 - When brown, remove to hot platter to keep warm.
3 - Bron the onion in the hot fat, add flour and stir until smooth.
4 - Add the bouillon and cook until thick.
5 - Pour over sausage cakes and serve.
