Scalloped Sweet Potatoes and Apples II
6 medium sized sweet potatoes
1/2 cp brown sugar
1 1/2 cps sliced apples
4 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp mace
1 - Boil sweet potatoes until tender.
2 - Slice in 1/4 inch pieces.
3 - Butter a baking dish and put a layer of swet potqtoes in the bottom, then a layer of apples.
4 - Sprinkle with sugar, salt and mace and dot with butter.
5 - Repeat until dish is filled, having the top layer of apples.
6 - Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees F.) about 50 minutes
