Dutch Apple Tart
1 tbsp flour
1 cp sugar
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp butter
1 - Line a deep dish with pastry.
2 - Sprinkle the flour and 1/4 cp of the sugar on the bottom of the crust.
3 - Peel and quarter the apples and place cut side down.
4 - Cover with the balance of the sugar, dot with butter and sprinkle with the nutmeg.
5 - Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees F.) about 35 minutes or until apples are baked and a rich syrup has formed.
