Butterscotch Pie II
1 cp brown sugar
1/4 cp water
1/4 cp butter
3 eggs, well beaten
2 cps milk
3 tbsp flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 baked pie shell
1 - Cook the sugar and water until it will spin a thread.
2 - Add butter, beat the eggs, and stir in the flour which has been mixed with 1/2 cp of milk.
3 - Add balance of milk and vanilla.
4 - Pour into the hot syrup and cook until mixture is thick.
5 - Pour into baked pie shell and set aside to cool.
6 - When ready to serve, cover with whipped cream.
