Sand Tarts (Real old German Style)
2 1/2 cps sugar
2 cps butter
2 eggs, well beaten
white of 1 egg
4 cps flour
pecan nut meats
1 - Cream the butter and sugar together.
2 - Slowly add the flour, working it in well.
3 - Add the well beaten eggs and mix thoroughly.
4 - Chill over night.
5 - Roll out thin on lightly floured board; brush cookies with the egg white which has been slightly beaten, sprinkle with
sugar and a little cinnamon and press 1/2 pecan in the center of each cookie.
6 - Bake ihn a moderate oven (350 degrees F.) about 10 minutes.
