Moravian White Christmas Cookies
2 cps butter
3 cps granulated sugar
5 eggs, well beaten
1 cp cream
1 tsp soda dissolved in 1/4 cp boiling water
4 or 5 cps flour
1 - Cream butter and sugar together until well blended.
2 - Beat the eggs and add.
3 - Stir in the dissolved soda.
4 - Sift the flour and add alternately with the cream.
5 - Mix thoroughly.
6 - Dough must be stiff enough to roll.
7 - Chill for several hours.
8 - Roll out thin on floured board and cut with fancy cookie cutters.
9 - Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees F.) about 12 minutes.
