1/2 cp butter
1 cp granulated sugar
2 eggs, separated
1/2 cp milk
1 1/2 cpds cake flour 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1 - Cream butter and sugar well, then add the beaten egg yolks and beat well.
2 - Add the milk.
3 - Sift the dry ingredients together and add to the mixture.
4 - Fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.
5 - Pour into well greased layer cake pans and bake in moderately hot oven (375 degrees F.) for 20 minutes.
6 - When cool, frost with favorite frosting.
