1 cp brown sugar
1 cp granulted sugar
2/3 cp condensed milk
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1 cp nutmeats, chopped
1 - Cut the chocolate in small pieces and cook with the brown and granulated sugar, the condensed milk and the corn syrup.
2 - Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
3 - Then cook, stirring occasionally until the fudge forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
4 - Remove from the fire, add the butter and let stand until it is cool.
5 - Then beat until it begins to lose its glossy appearance.
6 - Add the vanilla and the nutmeats, pour on a greased pan and allow to cool.
7 - Cut in squares.
