4 Golden Delicious apples
2 tbsp unsalted butter
3 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp water
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 - Peel and core apples and cut into 1/4" thick slices.
2 - In a 12" skillet heat butter over moderately high heat
until foam subsides.
3 - Saute' apples, turning until golden and tender.
4 - Stir in maple syrup, water, lemon juice, cinnamon,
and a pinch of salt and cook, stirring until apples are glazed.
