Blueberry Nut Loaf
2 eggs, beaten
1 cp light corn syrup or 1/2 cp sugar
3/4 cp milk
3 tbsp melted shortening
3 cps sifted enriched all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
1 cp blueberries
1/2 cp nut meats, chopped
1 - Blend corn syrup or sugar, milk and melted shortening with eggs.
2 - Sift flour,measure, then resift with other dry ingredients.
3 - Mix well into egg mixture, then fold in bluberries and nuts.
4 - Bake 1 hour in a greased loaf pan in preheated 350 degree oven
