2 cps enriched all-purpose flour.
3 tsp baking powder
2/3 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
1 cp sweet milk
1 egg, well beaten
2 tbsp melted shortening
1 - sift flour, measure and re-sift with other dry ingredients.
2 - Combine milk, beaten egg and shortening and add to dry ingredients
3 - The secret of good muffins is never to beat them, just stir until all ingredients are moist.
4 - Bake in greased muffin pans 15-20 minutes in a preheated 425 degree oven
