1 cp shortening
2/3 cp sugar
1 cp molasses
1/4 cp sour milk
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 cps sifted enriched all-purpose flour
1 - Cream the shortening and sugar, then add the molasses and milk.
2 - Mix well and add the dry ingredients mixed and sifted together.
3 - Chill, then roll the dough out thin and cut into rounds.
4 - Bake 14 minutes on a greased cookie sheet in preheated 375 degree oven.
