Peanut Butter Crunch Cookies

    1/2 cp. peanut butter crunch
    1/2 cp shortening(half butter or fortified margerine
    1/2 cp white sugar
    1/2 cp brown sugar
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 1/4 cp enriched all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp salt

    Instructions

    1 - Cream shortening and peanut crunch together.
    2 - Add sugars and cream thoroughly.
    3 - Add well beaten egg.
    4 - Sift flour once before measuring.
    5 - Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt together and
    add to the creamed mixture. Chill dough well 6 - Roll into balls the size of a walnut.
    7 - Press down with a lightly floured fork to make a crisscross pattern.
    8 - Bake 10-12 minutes in a 375 degree oven.
