Peanut Butter Macaroons

    2 egg whites
    3/4 cp granulated sugar
    1/4 tsp almond extract
    2 cps puffed rice
    1/3 cp peanut butter
    1/8 tsp salt
    >p> Instructions

    1 - Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry.
    2 - Fold in sugar gradually.
    3 - Add flavoring, tehn fold in rice, peanut butter and salt.
    4 - Drop by teaspoonfuls onto well greased cookie sheet.
    5 - Bake for 20 minutes in preheated 375 degree oven.
