Lamb Breast, Barbecued
2 lbs breast of lamb
1 medium onion
1/2 cp chili sauce
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp red pepper
1 tbsp vinegar
1 cp water
1 -Cut lamb into 5 pieces and season with salt and pepper.
2 - Place in a hot skillet and let the fatty sides get brown.
3 - Mix chili sauce, red pepper, vinegar and and water and pour over lamb.
4 - Slice onion and add to the mixture.
5 -Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
6 -Remove the lid and cook on medium heat for another 20 minutes or until barbecue sauce is almost absorbed.
