Basic Cream of Leftover Vegetable Soup

    1 1/2 tbsp enriched all-purpose flour
    3 tbsp butter or fortified margerine
    1 1/2 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp pepper
    3 cps milk
    1 cp finely chopped leftover vegetable of any kind


    1 - Blend the flour and butter or margerine, add seasonings, milk and vegetables.
    2 - Bring to a boil and simmer for about 5 minutes.
