Green Beans in Creamy Sauce
2 cps. cooked green beans
1/4 cp. chopped onion
2 tbsp. all-purpose enriched flour
1 tbsp butter or fortified margerine
1/4 cp. bean liquid
1/3 cp evaporated milk
salt and pepper
1 - Brown flower over low heat, stirring constantly.
2 - Add butter or margerine, stir until melted and
3 - mixed with flour. Add onion, bean liquid and
4 - milk. Cook until thick. Add beans, heat to piping
5 - hot. Season to taste.
