1 tbsp butter or fortified margerine
1 tsp salt
2/3 cp cream
5 cps shredded cabbage
1 cp buttered crumbs
1 tbsp all-purpose enriched flour
1/8 tsp pepper
1/3 cp liquid from the cabbage
3/4 cp water
1 - Cook cabbage in 3/4 cp water until partly done.
2 - Make a white sauce of butter or margerine, flour, salt, pepper, cream, 1/3 cp liquid from cabbage.
3 - Combine sauce and cabbage and pour into greased casserole.
4 - Top with buttered crumbs.
5 - Bake 20 minutes in a preheated 450 degree oiven.
