Creamed New Corn
5 ears corn
1/4 cp water
1 tsp salt
1/2 cp. top milk or light cream
1 - Remove husks from corn.
2 - Cut corn from cob.
3 - Place in covered utensil with water.
4 - Bring to the boiling point then turn to simmer heat and steam 10 minutes.
5 - Add cream and seasoning and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
