2 cps all-purpose enriched flour
4 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp shortening
1 tsp salt
3/4 to 1 cp milk
1 - Sift flour, measure and sift with salt and baking powder.
2 - Cut in shortening with 2 spatulas.
3 - Add milk until a thick drop batter is obtained.
4 - It may be necessary to add a bit more milk, due to variations in flour.
5 - Drop by tablespoonfuls into boiling stew, cover closely.
6 - Cook for 12 minutes.
