Hot Meat and Onion Sandwich
Cook 2 cps of sliced onions until tender or about 10 minutes in 2 cps boiling water.
Thicken slightly with all purpose enriched flour mixed with cold water and cook 5 min. more
Stir in 2 cps cut-up or ground leftover meat and heat thoroughly.
Season to taste with salt an pepper, and for an extra good touch you might add some
dried celery tops or parsley, a dash of chili sauce or tomato catsup.
Serve on slices of bread, or leftover biscuits, using plenty of gravy.
