Liver Spoon Cakes
1 lb sliced pork liver
1 small onion
6 soda crackers
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 tbsp milk
1/4 cp bacon drippings or other shortening
1 - Drop liver into boiling water and allow to stand for 5 minutes.
2 - Drai. put through food chopper with onion and crackers.
3 - Add seasonings, milk, and beaten eggs.
4 - Mix thoroughly. Drop into hot shortening by the tablespoonfuls.
5 - Brown on one side, then turn over and brown on the other side
6 - Cover skillet tightly and simmer for 20 minutes.
7 - Makes about 15 small cakes
