Oatmeal Peach Crumble
2 cps canned or cooked sliced peaches
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp butter or fortified margerine
1/4 cp melted shortening
1/3 cp brown sugar
2/3 cp sifted all-purpose enriched flour
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp soda 2/3 cp quick-cooking oats 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 - Arrange peaches in shallow greased baking dish.
2 - Sprinkle with lemon juice, cinnamon, dot with btter or margerine.
3 - Sift flour, salt, soda.
4 - Mix with rolled oats and blend with sugar mixture, crumbling well.
5 - Add vanilla, spread over peaches.
6 - Bake 45 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven.
7 - Serve with warm pudding sauce or top milk.
