6 slices bread
1 lb hamburg
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 tbsp butter or fortified margerine
1 - Season the hamburg with salt and pepper.
2 - Make 6 patties about the size of a slice of bread.
3 - Toast bread on one side.
4 - Top untoasted side with raw patty, spread meat with butter or margerine.
5 - Broil 5 minutes on one side, turn meat and broli on the other side until done.
6 - Serve with catsup, onions, or chili sauce.
