1 cp lentils
1/2 cp rice
1 qt water
1 tsp salt
1/8 lb salt pork
2 tbsp butter, fortified margerine, or bacon drippings.
1 small onion
1/4 tsp celery salt
1 - Rinse lentils and rice and add water, salt, diced salt pork
and cook on low heat 45 minutes.
2 - Chop onion fine and cook until tender in butter, margerine or drippings.
3 - Add to cooked lentils and rice.
4 - Stir in celery salt.
