Whole Wheat Biscuits
1 cp whole wheat flour(stirred)
1 cp sifted all-purpose enriched flour
4 tsp baking powder
6 tbsp shortening
3/4 cps milk
1 - Mix dry ingredients well in large bowl.
2 - Cut in shortening until in fine particles.
3 - Add milk and mix until moistened.
4 - Knead lightly on a slightly floured board.
5 - Roll 1/2" thick, cut and put on greased baking sheet.
6 - Brush top with milk. Let stand 10 min. at room temperature.
7 - Bake 10-12 minutes at 45o degrees.
