Dutch Cheese Spread
1 lb dry cottage cheese
1/2 cp top milk
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
apple butter or some other tart preserves
1 - If cheese is very hard, put through a sieve.
2 - Otherwise cheese may be put in a small bowl of electric mixer
and beaten until smooth, gradually adding top milk, salt and pepper.
3 - Spread on buttered bread or crackers.
4 - Serve with apple butter or other preserves.
