3 tbsp butter or fortified margerine
5 cps cabbage, shredded
1/8 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 cp cream or evaporated milk
1 - Put butter or margerine into a skillet and let brown slightly.
2 - Add cabbage and stir well.
3 - Cover skillet tightly and simmer 5 minutes.
4 - Stir again and cook another 5 minutes.
5 - Add pepper, salt and cream.
6 - Cover and simmer 4 more minutes.
7 - It is very important not to overcook the cabbage.
Total cooking time 14 minutes.
