Sweet Potato Pudding
3 cps raw grated sweet potato
3 eggs, slightly beaten
2 1/2 cps scalded milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cp sugar
2 1/2 tbsp molasses
2 tsp allspice
1 - Grate sweet potato and mix with beaten eggs.
2 - Pour scalded milk slowly into the egg mixture, stirring constantly.
3 - Add salt, sugar, molasses and the allspice.
4 - Mix well.
5 - Pour into a greased casserole.
6 - Set in a pan of hot water and bake for 1 hour in a preheated 325 degree oven.
