1 1/2 cps shelled peanuts
1/4 tsp salt
1 cp sugar
1/2 cp light corn syrup
1/2 cp water
1 1/2 tbsp butter or fortified margerine
1/2 tsp lemon extract
1 - Sprinkle nuts with walt and warm in the oven.
2 - Put sugar, corn syrup and water in pan, stir until it boils.
3 - Wash down sides with wet pastry brush and cook to 295 degrees
or until mixture is very brittle when tried in cold water.
4 - Add flavoring, butter or margerine and nuts and
pour into a shallow greased pan. 5 - As soon as it can be handled, turn the mass over and
pull and stretch it out as thin as possible.
6 - Preak into irregular pieces.
