Ohio Fruit Mincemeat

3 large oramnges, grated, peel and juice only
6 eating apples, washed, peeled, cored, and chopped
1 cp chopped suet
1 cp seedless raisins, soaked and drained
1 cp finely cut dried peaches, soaked and drained
1 cp finely cut dried apricots, soaked and drained
1/2 cp finely-cut citron
1 cp grated or ground scraped, washed carrots
2 tbsp powderedd cinnamon
1/2 tbsp powdered allspice
1/2 tsp powdered mace
1/2 tbsp powdered ginger
1 tsp powdered cloves
2 cps light molasses
3/4 cp (packed) brown sugar
1 cp boiled cider
1 - Mix all ingredients in an agate or enamel kettle, or large bowl.
2 - Pour into sterile glass jars.
3 - Seal.
4 - Store in refrigerator or dark, cool place to ripen at least 10 days before serving.
5 - Unusually good
