If your store of summer-made canned rel-
ishes is used up, you can still delight the family and guests
with crisp, good flavor with these "quickies" made from
kitchen staples. With prepared horse-radish, mustard, and
other good condiments and such on-hand pantry items as
pickles, olives, and celery, quick-relishes are easily concocted.
About thirty such are offered here to busy cooks who may
not have time, shen garden vegetables are at their best, to
put up enough for the winter's meals. Quick-made relishes
can be a hostess' best friend.
