Angel Divinity Balls
3 cps sugar
1 cp light corn syrup
1 cp water
2 stiff-beaten egg whites
1/2 cp flaked coconut
1/2 cp chopped walnuts
1 tsp vanilla
dash of salt
1 - Boil together sugar, corn syrup and water to medium ball stage (246 degrees F.), stirring until sugar is dissolved.
2 - Slowly pour over stiff-beaten egg whites, beating constantly.
3 - Continue to beat until mixture is no longer hot, about 10 minutes.
4 - Add remaining ingredients.
5 - Allowe to cool until mixture holds its shape when dropped from a spoon.
6 - Drop from a teaspoon onto waxed paper.
7 - Swirl each piece to a peak.
