1 1/2 cps sifted flour
1/2 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cp margerine
2/3 cp firmly packed brown sugar
1 unbeaten egg
1/4 cp maraschino cherry juice
2 tbsp milk
2 squares (2 oz) melted unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cp walnuts, chopped
1/4 cp maraschino cherries
1 - Cream the margerine gradually adding brown sugar, creaming well.
2 - Blend in 1 unbeaten egg and beat well.
3 - Stir in 1/2 the dry ingredients.
4 - Add maraschino cherry juice and 2milk; stir in the remaining ingredients.
5 - Mix well.
6 - Blend in melted unsweetened chocolate, walnuts, and maraschino cherries.
7 - Drop from teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
8 - Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
9 - Place 1/2 a large marshmallow on hot baked cookie, cut side down.
10 - Frost and top with nut half.
In top of double boiler, over hot water, cook 1/3 cp milk, 1/4 cp margerine, 2 squares (2 oz) unsweetened
chocolate, 1/8 tsp salt until thick. Remove from heat. Add 1 tsp vanilla and sifted confection sugar until at
