1 medium onion, chopped
1 can mushrooms, drained
1 lb lean round steak cut into thin strips
small amount of oil
small bunch of Chinese (celery) cabbage
1 green pepper, sliced
1 cp broth (beef bouillon)
1 can bean sprouts
1 can water chestnuts
salt and pepper
1 - Saute onion in large skillet, lightly greased)
2 - Remove from skillet and set aside.
3 - Saute mushrooms and set aside.
4 - Cook round steak strips in a small amount of oil, 2 minutes. (meat should be pink).
5 - Remove from skillet and keep warm without further cooking.
6 - Add Chinese cabbage, green pepper, and broth.
7 - Add and heat through: bean sprouts, and water chestnuts.
8 - Season with salt, pepper, and soy sauce.
9 - Then add the sauteed onions, mushrooms, and meat --Heat through (2 minutes).
